Early on, Arkaines were a peaceful and nature-respecting nomadic tribe. The tribe lived a simple life, traveling the grasslands and shores of Kasuria, a continent on Sita, or 'Earth', as her creations call her. This Arkaine tribe lived off the land and spent their time learning about their powers, as well as doing their best to be very in-touch with nature. The tribe was led by two siblings, a male and female, symbolizing the balanced ways of Valontras and Kamales. After generations of being nomadic, the Moon Chief (female) decided that she wanted to try to settle the tribe, hoping to create a settlement where they could create sturdier structures and live a more lavish lifestyle. The Sun Chief (male) disagreed with his sister's ideas, as he preferred the traditional ways of traveling and living off the land. The two siblings, along with the elder's approval, decided to split, offering the members of the tribe the option to either stay with the Moon Chief or continue the nomadic lifestyle with the Sun Chief. Equal parts of the tribe split up, and so began the creation of the City of Valone, the Moon Chief re-titling herself as the first High Priestess.

The City of Valone, named after the Goddess Valontras, was settled within the high mountains of Kasuria. Early on, the small town was bleak, but after hundreds of years of development, the great Temple of Ark was built at the highest point of the city, it's back built into the side of a mountain, a stunning waterfall pooling at its sides. The front of the temple was decorated with carvings within the stone, telling the stories of Valontras and Kamales. Once the Temple of Ark was finished, the City Circle formed naturally, as that's where many Arkaines preferred to spend their time. The City Circle was made up of different marketplaces, offering goods and services to the gem clad canines whom either had gold coins to spend or other goods to trade. Most commoners didn't have much gold, so generally, a trade of goods or services would happen. However, the Nobles often would pay with gold or more rare goods. The City Circle has a stream flowing down the middle of it, reaching and running through the Bath House, which sits at the far side of the City Circle, opposite to the temple. This stream provides fresh drinking and bathing water. On the outskirts of the City Circle is where the people live, usually in beautiful stone and wood buildings. Visiting nomads were welcome to set up camp on the outskirts of the housing, and were welcome with open arms. During the years of the City's rising, the brother tribe often visited, and the city soon became a normal resting point for the tribe, as they could trade for goods they needed, and replenish their resources easily. This also helped keep a strong bond between the Brother Tribe and Sister City (as they were often referred to as).

After hundreds of years of peaceful life in the City of Valone, two new High Priests were chosen, along with a single High Prophetess. Only about 25 years after the new High Priest (at his sexual maturity) was inducted into his position (the High Prophet and High Priestess before him), a cult who believed the powers the Arkaines had were ungodly and a disgrace, and also hungered for the money they could make off of their crystals, launched a surprise attack on the City of Valone in the dead of Winter. Many were murdered in cold blood, including women and children, as the Arkaines didn't have much defense, due to a hunting party (consisting of hunters and warriors) being gone on a trip. After three days of war and slaughter, the High Priests agreed to surrender themselves as a sacrifice to save the remaining of their people, however, the cult leader went back on his word, and enslaved the remaining Arkaines using magic suppressing collars, and sold most of them to a slave trade in Kasuria, as well as private buyers. Few Arkaines survived and escaped the attack, traveling on foot to warn the brother tribe. The nomadic tribe accepted them with open arms, and quickly gathered the tribe's strongest and most skilled men and women to travel to Valone and report on the damage. After the group came back to the tribe with stories of blood stained snow and bodies littering the land, a meeting was held between the Chiefs and the council. With a heavy heart, the two new Chiefs of the tribe, along with approval from elders (one of them being the previous Sun Chief) decided to go into hiding until they felt they were strong enough to try to save, or track down, any survivors of the war. During this meeting, they also elected one of the strongest hunters to become the first Warden, who was from then on in charge of training Arkaine warriors.

The nomadic tribe has been in hiding since the war, sanding down their gems and covering them during their travels, until the present day. With rumors of surviving Arkaines on the island of Guildereim, the Moon Chief and Sun Chief have decided to bring their tribe out of hiding, the nomads happy to have a sense of freedom. After the war, the nomadic tribe held strength and agility high, and those who were allowed to train as warriors were held high in the eyes of the people. Many nomads have a habit of keeping their gems under clothing, still wary of the fate that their sister city had.

Please note that Solarites and Valonians are not the only Arkaines around, as many have decided to split off for job opportunities or to seek other adventure. These Arkaines are generally called Rogues.

Now, it seems that the Valonian High Prophet and High Priestess have discovered the existence of the Prism Bridge, which up until now, was knowledge thought to be lost to the Terrestrial Realm. 
It seems the Prophecies about the Terrestrial Realm Dwellers will come true after all.
