        ♦ Ethereal Mark - A searing white glowing mark appears somewhere on your body… It feels like a hot brand is crawling over your skin where the mark is.
        If not treated with Medicine, it will spread and consume you. Many Arkaines have died from this disease over the years, and it is said it’s most often caught
         while out in poor weather, and/or while Traveling.

        ♦ Shadow Rot - A disease causing crystals to lose their color and rot from the inside out. It begins in the lifethorn, causing the glow to become dim and flickering.
        When the illness spreads, the bones and crystals of an Arkaine begin to become weak and fragile. Medicine is needed to overcome this illness.
        In extreme cases, this causes crystals and bones to become so fragile that they snap like twigs.

        ♦ Astral Blight - A disease causing crystals to overgrow at a terrifying rate. Many Arkaines have died from this disease, as the crystals will begin to
        completely take over the flesh, entombing the Arkaine and suffocating them until they pass. Medicine can cure it if it's caught early enough.
